First Challenge on Motivet

Last week marked the very first sketch challenge at Motivet and thanks to my dear and wonderful friend Christine, I was able to participate.  The images from the Traditional line are adorable and I love this one of the little boy catching Santa on his way down the chimney:

The sentiment is embossed in Stampin' Up! winter white and translated simply says "joy".  This card is destined for my son's French immersion teacher.  Using a combination of knife and scissors, I carefully cut around the top half of the image so that the SU designer series paper underneath appears to be wallpaper.  The image is coloured with copics, then the stocking tops were embossed with SU winter white and the bottoms of Santa's pants were coloured with Signo pen and made to sparkle with SU dazzling diamonds - after all Santa is a magical figure and should sparkle!  The flowers also have sparkles.  A close up on the front.

This card will be entered into Motivet's very first challenge.

Details
Papers: Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Motivet, SU (sentiment)
Ink: Memento, SU, Versamark
Embellishments: Copics, Signo pen, SU dazzling diamonds, bulk ribbon from Evergreen Stationers, Prima flowers, Kaiser pearls

Thanks for looking!
