Paper Sundaes Tenth Challenge

Oh Happy Sunday!  This week at Paper Sundaes the challenge is paper piecing with their new, regular monthly sponsor Simon Says Stamp!  With the right images this technique can be a lot of fun!  For your viewing pleasure, I have two paper pieced cards to share with you.  First up, is a beautiful Pure Innocence:

I paper pieced her shirt and pants and followed the sketch at Sketch Saturday.  I also used the same sketch when I paper pieced my hAnglar & stAnglar couple for an anniversary card.

I kept the embellishments to a minimum (lace and stitching) to draw the attention to the beautiful images.  The background was lightly coloured with Stampin' Up! chalks.  The sentiments on the inside are from two different Stampin' Up sets:

This card will be entered into the sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday, the anniversary challenge at Cute Card Thursday and going dotty at Creative Card Crew.

Thank you for looking!  Please join us this week at Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog for your chance to win $15 worth of products from Simon Says Stamp!  I just ordered from Simon Says Stamp a small selection of new stamps including Tilda with Flowing Hair, Wilma with Rose, WoJ Christmas Tree, CC Designs Rosalie, Sarah Kay's Bernadette Admiring the Spring Flowers, and Happy Tilda!  What a happy day that will be!!
