If Smiles Were Flowers

Happy Mother's Day!  Sorry for the lateness of this post.  Last night I had a housefull with my two nieces and nephew joining us for a sleepover.  Today, being Mother's Day, was our traditional Mom and Kids trip to the movies.  We saw Rio which was fun for all!

This week on Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog we would like to see your magical, mythical and fairytale characters.  I decided to make a sweet card for a little girl using Bunny Fairy

Once again I've followed the gorgeous layout from Sketch Saturday, however I've turned it sideways.  The papers are some of my favorite from my stash - a collection of papers from Three Bugs in A Rug from over a year ago.

I love the clean and simple lines of the Pink Cat Studio images so I kept the lines of the card and embellishments simple and clean.  Copic Creations challenge this week is colouring sky/clouds and actually have three different tutorials linked up.  I attempted to follow the tutorial by Dana Christiansen but my result needs work.

  Copic Details
Bunny fur: C00/C0/C1/C2
Flowers: RV11/RV21/RV34 and R30/R32
Wand: G40/G82 B000/RV10
Wings: B000
Sky: BG10/B000/B0000

The inside features word art from Paper Makeup Stamps:

This card will be entered into the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes with optional round
Creative Inspirations - Embossing (white background on front is embossed with dots)

Thank you for looking!  I look forward to seeing your magical, mythical, and/or fairytale characters at Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog for your chance to win with Pink Cat Studio!
