Trick or Treat Lida

Last year about this time I came across a challenge blog where one of the DT's cards featured a beautiful stamp entitled 'Maya's Sled'.  I followed the link back to the individual's blog and discovered the origins of the stamp - Papilio Stamps.  Digging deeper I fell in love with 'Lida in the Garden' and a few more of their images.  Sadly I also discovered that no new stamps had been released in quite sometime and that it was difficult to get the older stamps in Canada.

Fast forward to last week, when I see another card featuring a Papilio Stamp on a challenge blog.  Once again I go hunting - and find new images!!!  The amazing new fairies sadly are not available in Canada, however I was able to order three of the older stamps from Hobby Norge.

As I wait impatiently for my order to arrive, Malin releases a digital Halloween stamp 'Trick or Treat Lida'.

I followed the sketch from Sweet Stop Sketches for this card and took time to practice colouring black with copics.

Thanks for looking!  See you again tomorrow!

Great job on this card. That image is really cute. I agree, it is frustrating when you can't find an image you want! I hope you have better luck in the future. Have you tried Ebay yet? I know alot of people sell their stamps after awhile to get new ones. Might have some luck!

Shana, this is wonderful!! Your coloring is so gorgeous, and that image is so cute! I can see why you've been looking for them! Love your orange ribbon, and your bow is beautiful.

Your card is awesome! Great colors for halloween, and your coloring is perfect. Black is really tricky to color, but you did a great job. - I tend to use different shades of grey, to create an illusion of black. Have a great Sunday!
