Happy Birthday Son

Happy Wednesday!  This week on Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog we would like to see your creation featuring masculine colours.  I took the opportunity to colour one of my hÄnglar and stÄnglar images to celebrate my latest Ebay purchase - the new "Attitude" kit!

I followed this week's sketch at Basic Grey Challenges and used Basic Grey buttons.  The papers are from Imaginisce.

I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut the ovals.

The brown cardstock is Bazill.  The buttons and bow are tied with Stampin' Up! linen thread and I've used green cardstock from Stampin' Up!

Happy Anniversary Honey

This week's challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog was a recipe: 3 main colours, 2 patterned papers, 1 ribbon, and 1 button.  I decided it was a great opportunity to create an anniversary card for my hubby using the sexy Annette :

The patterned papers are from Webster's Pages.  I cut different elements from the first paper out to create a scene.  The ribbon is from Stampin' Up and the button is from Bazzill.

Wee Stamps

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday!  Yesterday I celebrated my thirteenth wedding anniversary curled up sick.  Not exactly the romantic evening I had planned!  I even found chocolate covered strawberries at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - my favorite!

As I sat here slowly recovering I saw the cutest little card on Christine's blog here.  It features the cutest little girl from the new digi shop Wee Stamps.

Happy Sunday!  This week on Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog we are asking you to "Pick Your Sundae Toppings"!  We'd like to see your creation with at least two of the following toppings: flowers, lace, the colour pink, or distressing.  For my creation I've topped my sundae with distressing and the colour pink.

These gorgeous papers are from Graphic 45.  I was unable to locate my edge distresser so I resorted to using the edges of my paper scissors.

Although difficult, I did manage to avoid glitter...although I am considering adding some dazzling diamonds and taking another picture in the morning...
