March Calendar Page with Spring Kiki La Rue

Happy Saturday!  This week's challenge at Anyone for Anya and Friends is a calendar page for March.  I had so much fun with February's calendar challenge that I just had to play along again!  I love the new images from CC Designs including Spring Kiki La Rue:

These new papers from Echo Park are so beautiful!  After months of snow outside I am ready for Spring flowers!  I followed today's sketch at Sketch Saturday:

Isn't Kiki simply gorgeous?!  My daughter once again insisted on the red hair since every card I make with a girl must be of her!

A Kraftin' Kimmie Valentine

Over a year ago I decided to try to attain a coveted design team position with a fabulous Canadian stamp company - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  Needless to say, that did not go so well.  I was new to the world of blogging and new to copic colouring.  A year later, I am ready to try again - and to demonstrate my improved copic colouring skills with red and black!  The challenge this week at Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog is "Red".  And this beauty is Giselle:

The sketch is newly posted today from Friday Sketchers.  The papers are from Bo Bunny and the cherry blossoms are from Wild Orchid.

Sadly, I must admit that it has been a while since I've played with my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and that I have several who have never seen ink!

Shy Edwin In Love

Happy Sunday!  This week on Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog we are asking you to use two or more images - this can be a combination of two or more main images, background images, furniture, or even accessory stamps.  For my card I used four of the stamps I just received last week from Diana at Magnolia-licious - and three are from the brand new "You Are So Special" collection!   Meet Shy Rose Edwin and his love, Tilda with Big Ribbon

The background stamp is Romantic Window from the new collection and Tilda is sitting on Old Bench.  The papers are from my stash and they are at least a year old - if not two!  The collection is from Making Memories and not only did I buy the papers, but I also bought the matching die cuts, ribbons, notepad, and brads.

I coloured the images with a combination of copic markers, Koh-I-Noor coloured pencils, and Stampin' Up! chalks.  The trim on Tilda's dress, undershorts, and socks have been treated to Stampin' Up! dazzling diamonds.

A Little Sugar for Valentine's

Over seven years ago I began making cards using stamps.  My first online purchase however was just two years ago - and it was from a wonderful little stamp company from Scotland - Sugar Nellie.  Over the years I have fallen in love with numerous lines - Elisabeth Bell, Gorjuss Girls, Home Grown Manga, Maggie & Hamish, Simply Sassy...and now these digital images from their Home Grown Line.  This gorgeous girl is Joy and she is a joy to colour!

I have used this week's sketch from the Sugar Bowl.
