During my trip to Jasper with my best bud Christine (and neither monster!), I felt obliged to colour some images for my children. My son and daughter love when I make them cards, which is a good thing considering it is my passion! I find it difficult to find images I enjoy colouring for my son. However I loved stamping my new
Puddle Jumper Davey and colouring both him and his pet lizard:
I have flipped and rotated the sketch from
The Sweet Stop in order to take advantage of my DP:
I cut the arrow so that I could bring it in front of the image and cut the background paper so that words would be legible.
I am still working on my shading, attempting to get more dramatic contrast that I admire in other cardmakers' images.
My daughter also wanted a Puddle Jumper card, so tomorrow's card will feature
Ella. I had a lovely afternoon at Christine's house but after colouring this little beauty I had to return to my two little monsters!
Davey will be entered into the following challenges:
Craft Your Days Away - Punch It Out (nestability to cut out Davey and a circle punch to fit patterned paper into the tag)
Thank you for looking! Check out the post below for my Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog card DT card featuring one of the new Magnolias!
