I borrowed this sweet stamp from a close friend. Her name is Posy and she is only one of eight adorable stamps in the Moonlight Whispers series from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This stamp required a special trip in search of the perfect papers. I came home with the new Colorful Christmas line from My Mind's Eye, among others, new ribbons, and eye candy. Posy's flowers and cherries on her dress have been treated to Stickles and the leaves of the cherries have been smooched. None of the flowers in my collection seemed quite right so I created my own following Marianne's tutorial. The end result...
I'm afraid that this picture does not do her justice so I'll have to re-take it during daylight hours. Happy Posy will be entered into two challenges over at A Spoon Full of Sugar and Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps and Designers
Recently my good friend won a challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie's blog and introduced me to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. As a fellow Canadian, I am encouraging individuals to check out this new Canadian company and their unique images. An order is definately in the near future once I convince myself that I do not require the complete Moonlight Whispers line. Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps also has a guest design team spot opening soon. Interested stampers can check it out here.
As I am extremely interested in this new guest designer postion, I took a hop over to DT member Andrea's new blog, My Stamping Heaven and was stunned by her talent! Andrea is celebrating her move to Blogger by offering some super sweet candy here.
Good luck Andrea on your blog move! And good luck to all my fellow stampers who try out for the guest design team spot on Kraftin' Kimmie's!

Whiff of Joy Birthday Card
With my beloved mother-in-law's birthday fast approaching, I figured I would combine a challenge with the event. I had already coloured this Whiff of Joy image a few weeks ago and figured it would be simply a matter of matching paper to her - wrong! Talk about backwards. I think for the future I'll start with the papers and then colour - no matter how anxious I am to colour a new image! I ended up going monochromatic because the paper choices were slim. The cardstock, DSP, die cuts, and punches are all Stampin' Up! Embellishments include Prima e. line flowers, Martha Stewart rhinestones, stickles, smooch ink, glimmer mist, and unknown buttons and ribbon. The end result...
I am entering her in the Whiff of Joy challenge and crossing my fingers that Jane will like her too!

A Tilda for Christmas
With another day at home with the two cute little monsters, I thought I'd try for one more challenge before I'm back to work tomorrow. I love Magnolia stamps and the DT on Magnolia licious have a wonderful sketch challenge for November. The non-traditional Chrismas colours in CTMH Jingle line inspired me to create this card.
Recipe: CTMH Creative Basics Jingle paper pack, Stampin Up! Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red cardstock, Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder, Spellbinders Nesties, Smooch ink, SU Sizzlits Lots of Tags, copic markers, SU scallop border punch
